INGREDIENTS

45ml Gente de Mezcal Espadín
70ml grapefruit juice
25ml lime juice
15ml honey syrup
Soda water
Salt

GARNISH

Slice of grapefruit

GLASS

Highball or Tall glass

METHOD

  1. Run a lime slice around the rim of a tall glass.
  2. Tip salt into a small plate and press the rim into the salt until covers the whole rim of the glass the whole way round
  3. Fill the glass with ice and set aside.
  4. Add in the honey syrup first, followed by the lime juice and grapefruit juice and finally the mezcal
  5. Top up the glass with a splash of soda water and stir
  6. If desired, garnish with a twist of grapefruit peel or a grapefruit wedge.
